Bison View Lodge Cancellation Policy

PLATFORM CANCELLATION POLICY: The cancellation policy for AirBnB supersedes supersedes this agreement unless rental is a wedding or takes place over the following major American holidays (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Please see Holiday Cancellation Policy below. On VRBO cancellations, a 10% fee will be assessed to cover administrative fees and credit card processing that were incurred by Bison View Lodge as a result of your booking with a credit card. Customers will need to reach out to the platforms if the “guest fee” charged by the platforms (AirBnB, VRBO, etc) is not refunded as those funds are not paid to Bison View Lodge.

DIRECT BOOKING CANCELLATION POLICY: Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to check-in date will receive a full refund less a 10% cancellation fee to cover credit card processing fees and administrative expenses incurred due to the cancellation. Cancellations made 45 to 60 days prior will receive a 50% refund, within 45 days of check-in date, the trip is non-refundable. Weddings require a 50% non-refundable deposit.

MAJOR HOLIDAY CANCELLATION POLICY: Major Holidays are defined as Memorial Day, Labor Day, Independence Day (July 4), Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (December 24), Christmas Day (December 25), New Years Eve (December 31), and New Years Day (January 1). Guests may not check in or out on a major holiday. Guests shall receive a 90% refund if cancellation occurs 60 days or more before the major holiday. There will be no refund within 60 days of the above “MAJOR HOLIDAYS”.

REFUNDS: We strive to deliver a wonderful, memory making experience for our guests. We will make every reasonable effort to correct any problem that arises during your stay in a timely manner. There should be no expectation of refund, and there will be no refund because you are disappointed with the property you have chosen to rent or in the event that something associated with the property is not working to your satisfaction. Bison View Lodge LLC will not be liable under any circumstances to refund any unused portion of booked accommodations or services. Bison View Lodge has the right to send a check as opposed to a credit card reimbursement.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: We highly recommend guests purchase travel insurance to protect against financial loss from unforeseen conditions that may lead to cancellation (ex: sickness or injury, job loss or relocation, severe weather, revoked military leave, etc) A reputable website to shop for trip insurance is: https://www.insuremytrip.com/.
